I really hate some of the looks and stares I get for being in my wheelchair.. Especially when someone may see me getting into my chair and being able to walk those few steps to get in to it from the car - they obviously think I don't need to be in a wheelchair just because I am young and look well and because I walked from my car to my chair! It's ridiculous...
If only these people who stared knew the half of it....

I completely know what you mean Rivka and I sometimes wish those without pain or problems of some kind could live a day in our shoes... And know what it's like rather than judging us! As if that's going to happen, but stickers like the one above (and I'm going to post another cool disability car bumper sticker in a sec) will hopefully spread a little awareness and prevent people being so quick to judge those who don't LOOK ill. INVISIBLE ILLNESSES - so wish they were VISIBLE!
