I've been drinking diet coke, fanta zero, coke zero, sugar free juices, Pepsi max etc etc for so long, years.... And I've always thought of it as a good thing, not necessarily healthy but a better option than non diet drinks full of sugar..., right?
However over the last few months I've had more and more people say to me that drinking these 'so called diet drinks' are no good for me at all, in fact they are detrimental to my health!
I know they contain sweeteners and such like but HOW can they be so bad for you?
WHAT are other peoples views on diet drinks/sodas etc?
Do you drink them too - and have you had any bad side effects?
I'm so curious as to how they are supposed to be so bad.... After all I've not experienced any ill effects from drinking them for years!
I've heard people say they are deadly, full of sugar, bad for you!!! HOW?
I'm just not convinced and unless someone can prove otherwise or at least give me reason to believe otherwise, I don't think I'm going to change my mind...........

OMG HUN, thank you so much, after reading this I am never drinking diet soda again, or cutting down on the amount I drink DRASTICALLY! I never knew all this, I never even imagined it! Thank you for sharing this - you may have just contributed to saving my life and decreasing my waist size lol xx
