Uncertainty (poem)

[blue1983]

 Tear drops are falling down my face
I can't stop them from coming down so fast
My mind is racing with so many emotions and thought
which won't go away
My body is so tired from all the emotional strain that is going on
All I want to do is sleep or even just run way
from all the hurt and the pain.
my mind is still racing, but now telling me what should be doing to myself
like burning,cutting myself or even banging my head against a wall,
or even pulling my hair out, by one strand at a time.
all of this to get rid of my pain and guilt of stuff that is going on.....
But it never stops.........
CAUSE THE PAIN NEVER TRULY GOES AWAY

i love this poem, it portrays so much emotion and i can really relate to it. I used to suffer from depression and have a history of self-harm and this poem really reminds me of those moments when things just got on top of me.

I agree amme - I think some of the best poems are those which you can relate to in some way...

Hiya, thank u for your lovely comments,its good to know that I'm not alone with way I feel bout stuff and that the emotion came though it. Yea I do write a lot of poems, I have a bookful of poems that I have written. Xx
